Maro Angelidou

Dance-acrobatics Instructor / Choreographer

Maro Angelidou is a professional dancer, choreographer, and dance-acrobatics instructor. She has been trained in classical and contemporary dance, while later enriching her artistic identity with studies and workshops in gymnastics, calisthenics, breaking, contortion, capoeira, and circus techniques (aerial arts).

In the field of teaching, she specializes in contemporary dance, floor acrobatics, handstands & hand balancing, Pilates (Mat & Reformer), flexibility, and contortion, teaching in well-established dance schools and studios. Her teaching approach combines different techniques, with an emphasis on body strength, expressiveness, and the development of a personal dance identity.

As a performer, she has collaborated with productions in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Berlin, participating in commercials, video clips, TV productions, as well as dance projects. She has performed in prestigious venues such as the Athens Concert Hall, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the Athens Festival, and the Athens Biennale. She has participated in breaking battles and hip-hop competitions, while also developing her own artistic projects.

She holds diplomas in Pilates Mat & Reformer, a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher certification, as well as a degree from the Professional Dance School “Rallou Manou.” She has also studied Film at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and continues to attend seminars and training programs both in Greece and abroad.
